I did hear that there are some bugs that do not show up in Linux that do touch Windows and/or macos/ios. I run into small problem every so often but the dt dev team is pumping out new releases on a daily (hourly at times) base and most of yesterdays problems are gone today. I did come across some bugs in the last few weeks, but most of them are already fixed by now (all the major ones are at least). Oh, to show how easy it could be: After the balancing act I was left with a dt 2.6 that had way to small a font size: Open the css file, change 8pt into 9 pt, restart dt. Maybe more people run into this once RC0 and RC1 are readily available and they will rethink this decision. Initially they said I was missing fonts (nope), than they said I should edit the css file(s). The font size was way to big and because everything is now 'a percentage of the font' it didn't look nice at all. There is one major issue though: I initially had a hard time getting the new layout to look correctly.

So here's what I think about (the current state of) the new version:įirst impression: Way to go darktable team! Truly like it and there aren't that many points that I do not like or would have liked to be different.
